Bongo Man" is an inspiring musical experience told through reggae in Jamaica in 1980 - the island seething with turmoil and ripe for civil war. When Ivan, a young black from the slums, dies in a hail of bullets, Jimmy is there to sing his epitaph. He proves it's a hard road to travel, but urges all to stand up and fight back for what is right. "Bongo Man" tugs on the heartstrings and emotions.
